Gayle Durden Kitchen

Gayle Durden Kitchen of St. Pauls, NC was born on Tuesday, September 3, 1963 to the Late Junior and Louise Durden and went home to be with our Lord on Friday, February 21, 2025, completing her journey of 61 years. 

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27 2025 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church:337 S Elizabeth St, St Pauls, NC 28384 

She Leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband Lonnie Kitchen of the home, one brother Matt Durden of the home; three daughters Amanda Griffin and her husband Dale of St. Pauls, Heather Veltri and her husband Daniel, Ashley Ivey of Virginia; grandchildren Makayla Miller, Mackenzie Miller, Mryiah Jones, Kendall Jones, Jayda Jones, Sage Veltri, Roman Veltri, Chase Veltri, Maleah Locklear, Braydon Ivey, Brycen Ivey, five great grandchildren; a special daughter Kayla McNeill; along with many relatives and friends. 

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Billy C. Griffin. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 1:00PM in the sanctuary of Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church:337 S Elizabeth St, St Pauls, NC 28384 with Reverend George Locklear and Reverend Lee Wilson officiating, Burial will follow the service at Oak Ridge Cemetery.  

Pallbeares will be Charles Justice, Deron Carter, Chad Herring, Andrew Harris, Ja'Darriu Campbell, and Stephen Justice.
