Michael Wayne Vause

Michael "Wayne" Vause of Whiteville, was born on Tuesday, April 21, 1959 in Bladen County, and passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Novant New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Completing his journey of 65 years. 

He was the son of Willie and Florence Vause. 

Wayne leaves behind to cherish his memories one daughter Tabitha R. Vause of Clinton; one brother David Vause and his wife Virginia "Jenny" of Clarkton; two sisters Willena Bullard of Chadbourn, Theresa Vause of Whiteville; one grandson Seth Bradshaw; two special friends JR, and Alex; a four legged baby named Blackie; as well as a host of relatives and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his father Willie Vause, and one sister Sharon Faye Vause. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11:00AM in the Clarkton Cemetery with Reverend Johnathan Simmons officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of David Vause 3097 Airport Road, Clarkton NC 28433, after the service.
