Phillip Ray Hodge

Phillip Ray Hodge of Tar Heel was born on Friday, March 16, 1962 to the late Sam and Inez Hodge and passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Angel House in Whiteville. Phillip was 62 years of age. 

Phillip leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Rhonda Hodge of the home; one son Samuel Hodge of the home; two brothers Dayton Hodge and his wife Janice, George Hodge and his wife Mary; two sisters Patricia White and her husband Rudy, Betty Martin; one granddaughter  Ellie Williamson; as  well as a beloved "grand dog" Winston; along with a host of relatives and friends. 

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Sam "Buddy" Hodge and Jerry Hodge, along with his fur baby Muffin. 

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 2:00PM from the Bladenboro Funeral Chapel: 400 S. Main Street Bladenboro, NC 28320. A time of visitation will be held the same day from 1:00PM until 2:00PM.
